Mia, Fort Lauderdale, FL : Do you write your sex scenes from personal experience or is it all fiction? If they are from experience girl you need to go into another field, I'll be the first to enroll.

ANSWER: C'mon, does it look like I have to make up wild sexual experiences? I get asked this question all the time. However, when asked in person all the blushing I do speaks volumes... I never really have to say a word! LMAO... I just opened up a can of worms I bet.

50% percent of the sex scenes in my books were inspired by my real life experiences (pausing for a deep breath, lol). 25% encouraged by the lives of friends who will remain nameless. 10% Imaginary and the kind of sex we all wish we were having and dream about daily...hourly (lol). 10% the type of sex you'll never admit to wanting, and 5% we pray we never encounter.

Various People Asked This Question, USA: I would like to know if there will be a sequel to the Fly on the Wall?

ANSWER: Wow, I am amazed at the number of readers that want a sequel to Fly on the Wall. I won't lie, though I have thought about it I haven't written a sequel. I fight with the thought of taking Theo and Paige any further or somehow disturbing their good thing. However, after the two projects that I am currently working on I will seriously consider giving Theo and Paige another go.

Marcus, Miami, FL.: Trista, this is Marcus... your ex (2001). Was the character Damian sexually based on me? If so how much did you enjoy recalling our experiences??

ANSWER: Not so much!!! Take a deep breath, because you must be off of your medication again. Comparing you to Damian is like sitting a Tonka truck next to a Peterbilt. You asked!!! Talk to me after I create that "done in one-minute and eleven seconds FLAT" character. Please don't make me put you out there any more than I have to.

Rhonda Thomas, Houston, TX.: Why don't you write more books? I need to be fed by you at least 4 or 5 times a year. Does it take that long to come up with such fascinating stories as the 3 books that you have out now?

ANSWER: I have enough ideas to last 100 years, but getting them down on paper is a different story. I took off some time to settle into my marriage and then because of my pregnancy. Writing is my passion and I am currently working on two books. I would love to crank out 4 or 5 titles a year... we'll see. Dead Broke comes out on Jan. 8, 2008. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Nealinda Stewart, Baltimore, MD.: What was your toughest obstacle to overcome when you published your first book? Why was it the toughest?

ANSWER: The toughest obstacle to overcome was rejection. No one, in any facet of life, wants to be told that they're not good enough, unworthy, or inadequate. I was turned down by several agents and publishing houses. It depressed me a little, but not enough to make me throw in the towel. I believed in my talent and couldn't see why others didn't. I landed an agent and then a two book publishing deal after much refusal and it made the experience ten times more worthwhile.

Kim, Houston, TX.: Have you ever done any modeling? Or thought about being a full figure model?

ANSWER: I'm taking this question to mean that someone thinks I'm SEXY (j/k). Yes I've done some modeling, both when I was thin and in my grown and sexy thicker skin. I LOVE CAMERAS!!!

Deana, Winston-Salem, NC.: Is that your real hair?

ANSWER: I love wearing braids, and when I do... I BUY the best quality body wave braiding hair that I can afford, in number 1B! LMAO!!!Good Question!

Herman: All I want to know is what perfume do you like best? Are you married? and do you have any children?

ANSWER: My current fragrance of choice is JUICY COUTURE! I take the whole bottle wherever I go because I want to smell JUICY! Yes, I am married (pick your hearts up men, lol) and I have a 4 month old angelic daughter.

Sandy Fort Washington, MD.: What made you write the book Going Broke?

ANSWER: We've all been scared to check our bank account balances. Or gone to the ATM and selected "no" for a receipt because you just didn't want to know how little you had left... as long as you were able to get the $20 you just got...life is great. I wanted to write something that I and other people could relate to... financial problems, trifling friends, and good sex. All three will make you lose your mind!

James, New York, NY.: If a husband or wife is not having sexual relations with their partner over say a two week period, is cheating/getting some justified?

ANSWER: Cheating is never justified. However, if someone is purposely "withholding" sex then I say "Do you, boo." Married people have to stop playing games... either you want to be happy or not. If you are refusing the man/woman sex then hire an attorney because if they're not getting it from you... guess what? No sex in a marriage is a surefire way to get cheated on. Sex Rocks!!!
